RIZGODHonestly, I feel pretentious watching s*** like The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Like I wouldn't recommend movies like that to most people

The movie not trying to (aesthetically) live up to the previous movies =/= fanservice
the metaness was the dopest thing about the movie imo. The callbacks to past scenes made sense to me. It got a lil overbearing but they made thematic sense

Plus they were meticulous enough to NOT break the 4th wall because it all makes sense within the storyline as well as outside of it
I get that people don’t like the dialogue heavy scenes and a lack of action though, to me the action aspects were never really what made The Matrix special tho
