Love Kaufman and just watched that for the first time the other day and man that s*** was pretentious as hell
BUT, we all act like watching a pretentious film automatically makes it bad or try hard or intellectually dishonest or something which I don’t believe to be true
Something can be pretentious and also very cleverly written or make you think deeper about the material and tbh I like a pretentious moviegoing experience now and again
