i think for me buu needed to be dealt with by gohan. have goten take the same role that gohan had with goku. except gohan's the mentor figure and then do what you're saying with it have him do something completely unexpected to take care of buu

Both facts.
That's why i can never fully stand behind Vegeta and find it weird how people prefer him to Goku.

It's fair to not like any characters, but could that have something to do with the whole nature of the anime... maybe fighting to be the strongest just isn't your cup of tea?

Fights are tedious indeed especially if you don't get any enjoyment out of them.

I don't see why someone would be mad at your opinion

yup it’s just boring to me after a certain point. Show is never ending and feels ultimately pointless to me.

Kinda like Hunter x Hunter which is technically something i like to a certain degree but again i gotta be honest, s*** is tedious and long winded

Dbz abridged was pretty funny as a parody spoof till the creators started falling in love with the smell of their own farts from their fans telling them it was better than the real thing and by the time they did perfect cell it was just a glorified redub lol

Yea, s*** starts off slow but by the time the Yorknew City arc hits it starts subverting all the expected shonen tropes.

but to be fair to myself

the deeper meaning that i found in DBZ was that it helped me through tough times

cus it kind of happened at a crucial time when my parents divorced and life as i knew it was crumbling right in front of my eyes and i could always vividly remember Goku trumping every adversity in the back of my mind as my main template
