if what you're saying is imperfect cell was a far more hideous and terrifying force than it's hard to disagree

but perfect cell is a far more awe demanding opponent than a bug-man

Hunter x Hunters chimera ant arc disproves this but you won’t watch

Vegetal sacrifice being useless was so foul LMAO

Like they couldn't at least kill off fat buu and unlock brown evil buu from that death or something? So f***ing foul lmao

I'm saying a villain who isn't just WAY MORE POWERFUL but can't be sensed and is bouncing around like a horror slasher is more interesting and unique to me

it is more unique to me too, but there's a trade-off too...

it feels off to keep him that way for the entire evolution

On namek dude had trunks motto, kill everything asap

Cell saga vegeta woulda put the ginyu force into the health restore tanks so they could fight him at full strength when they woke up

dragon ball z is the illiad of our time. and manga is the closest equivalent we have to epic poetry. akira toryama and eiichiro oda belong in the same conversation as homer

If I’m being honest I would’ve had Goten kill Buu like Gohan killed Cell

but that would be kinda stale and predictable wouldn't it?

It’s crazy how a lot of DBZ villains starting forms be more interesting than their final forms which just end up being “grrrr my power level” that’s why I hate the Buu saga so much.

The whole story is “Buu is so powerful and we can’t beat him until we can”

really? i always admired the boldness in that choice to have kid buu be immensely powerful

couldn't wrap my mind around that lol which made it so fun

Less predictable than Goku relying on the spirit bomb

but see that is kinda logical tho

his most powerful move, in dire times... he doesn't even overuse it imo

it was used pretty sparsely since he learned the move

How is it a bold choice when they did the same thing with Cell the prior saga?

Buu was absorbing people getting more powerful just like Cell except he was a pink bubble gum thing instead of an insect

I wasn't a fan of what they did with vegeta, on namek vegeta was that dude, was willing to do whatever it took to survive, from sneak attacks to ganging up on ppl ect, then later on he's suddenly this pretentious double who laughs at the idea of ganging up on cell, I get that super saiyan power made him turn ridiculously cock but namek vegeta>>>

Vegeta literally had an in-anime character development, he turned soft... which is what made him 1000000x better in my opinion

Had it actually been planned out they should ve saved vegetas destruction sacrifice for the very end

They waste so many unique and new moves on "lol regeneration" and def ruined his sacrifice in the process, reviving vegeta after his arc was already fully complete

because of the fact that you're looking at an unimpressive teenage/kid opponent who is so immensely powerful yet childish than a mf

if he was a giant amongst giants it would've made more sense to the average viewer imo, but i LIKE the unpredictable nature of his appearance matched with his power levels

like even going way way back like dragon ball is unimpeachable classic all the way from red-ribbon army to cell so its like give the man his due but some of the later s*** you can tell he's just like done with writing manga at that point
