got is weird cause the first 4 seasons were really fun and then by season 5 no one wanted to be there and the entire thing fell apart
It became a total joke, to the point it played into the memes their fambase created
The Sopranos is the best TV series ever and nothing even comes close....
this isnt far off
Sopranos worth a watch once a year, pick up new gems and quotes every damn time. And the allegories underneath, s*** is flawless

the fact that the main talking point between older fans is that they cant watch it anymore because the ending is so bad, says all you need to know about the creative teams interest level in the series

Yup, the last seasons beheaded the shows rep in the same way matrix revolutions f***ed up the rep of reloaded
the sopranos is easily a masterpiece, im not sure any other show really meets its quality. especially on a per-episode basis
Hereditary is by far the most disturbing horror film possibly ever....
Imma check it out, I'm always down to watch a horror if it's not a cookie cutter pg 13 Jumpscare fest for tweens
And also that movie "It Follows" is incredibly disurbing with that concept and pacing WTF....

It has been a movie that I've never forgotten. It weaves it's way into your soul. This film is f***ing disturbing... for me at least.
I really encourage anybody to watch "Hereditary" with the sound on loud.... and noone around you. The movie feels like dread, it feels like hell, it's the only movie that f***ed me up for life

suspiria 2018 might be better than suspiria 1977
Plenty of people feel that way.

When I finished it I actually did some research cuz I was so blown the last couple seasons didn't even feel like the same show
Turns out they ran out of book material to follow and they were being offered the chance to write and direct a star wars movie at the time, so they were in a rush to wrap it up and had their eyes set on star wars, so they rushed right through all this stuff the creator gave them to use, he and hbo offered to let other writers take over and provide more seasons to flesh out the plots but they refused and rushed right to the finish In an unspectacular trainwreck of garbage

That's hoe I felt about phantom of paradise, it's this bizarre coked up Brian DePalma creation, it's equal parts dark comedy, musical and horror but at the end it leaves this evil, sense of dread, no movies done me like that besides maybe the ending scene of Blow Out (de Palma of course)

the craziest thing is that they lost their star wars deal because of the reception. which is just karma honestly

Ok, ok. I'm adding that to my list. Phantom of Paradise. The boy that made Scarface, how would I not watch that?
