the days of rolling every lobby until you hit a clan are over, not a bad thing necessarily
s*** would be hilarious tho playing search late at night and getting the same clan after s*** talking and then the lobby just erupts
I still don't really understand this argument, why do people act as if they're guaranteed to lose after they win a game or two? To me it sounds less like an issue of SBMM and more of an issue of not being a consistent player or confirmation bias when someone has one or two "good games" out of ten
I had a 2+ KD for the majority of the time I played and I never won a match (or a few matches) and felt like I was guaranteed to lose the next few. I did have matches where I did worse, everyone does as you can't win them all, but I felt like it was less of an issue of SBMM and more of an occurance of natural variance (team skill, team loadouts, maps, SBMM calibration which isn't not necesarilly a bad thing, etc.,)
This is the first new era CoD I've owned but I always heard about how people didn't like SBMM, but when I actually played the game it just seemed like people wanted to have easier high K/D games instead of playing against people who will actually make it difficult for them. It's just very odd coming from a fighting game background where we want things like SBMM, at LEAST a very moderate version of it, as we are constantly looking for ways to make it easier for casual and new players to enjoy our games
my issue with sbmm this year is that im put in lobbies where i’m carrying the load on my team with kills and objectives while the opposing team has like 3-4 dominant players
this the first COD to put you in a different lobby after every game? Cause that’s big trash.
idk if it's the first but I agree that it's lame, idk why they would do that lol

just hate playing in a lobby with a solid team in domination where they take objectives, then the next game your team doesn’t take any objectives and they get completely decimated

yeah it def sucks, I’m always top of the scoreboard in hard point with like barely any kills bc I just rush and prone hard to make up for no objective play lmao

This s*** is stupid because they can easily fix it with a ranked mode. Let the casuals play casually and the sweats can try hard against other sweats.
nah i agree sbmm is needed in all competitive games like this but it's just too sensitive this year. previous cods had nowhere near this amount and i feel like too many people are talking about it for it to be just completely made up
I think that's a fair take! It's definitely valid to want SBMM to be reworked, I think a lot of things about Cold War multiplayer need to be reworked tbh

I feel this, I've been there before too. You think this happens more often this year than with previous titles? I wouldn't be able to compare since I haven't played them

started with MW

there is a ranked mode lol
there is a ranked mode lol
They have a ranked mode and they still have sbmm?? that's kinda dumb.
Have you guys played overwatch or gears? There's a quick play and a ranked mode. P sure they both implement some kind of rank system in ranked but quick play is just whatever. P sure that's what people want.
grinding these cigma double kills then im onto the rpg and i got dm
14/25 done, going to bed then ima finish it tomorrow and start on the RPG
