anyone still playing warzone?

Need to cop this. saving it for next-gen though, been playing BO4 and it made me realize how much fun i have playing CoD. Regardless of the weird s*** like strong SBMM & keeping streak progress after you die (idk if thats still in the game) if i look past all that i think i could really enjoy it for what it is

There has got to be a way to make the game fun despite SBMM for us naturally on point players. ima figure it out

For some reason when i play online zombies on my Series X, my game shuts down at like round 18. I have to reboot the game and join the lobby. I know I have the Next Gen version too...I wonder what the deal is with zombies

Can someone explain why SBMM is such a huge problem to everybody? Wouldn’t it technically make matches more balanced? All players of both squads are all around the same skill level right?

Or does it work to where MY squad is all at the same skill level, but the enemy squad can be full of nothing but sweaty CDL tier tryhards and they demolish us lmao.

Yea I’ve had a few matches here and there where the other squad was jus stupid good and demolished us, but it hasn’t happened any more often than it did/does in MW, and everything has felt pretty balanced.

That’s why I asked if SBMM only matches skill level on each individual squad, to where an average player gets matched wit average players, but then that average squad can end up going against a squad full of mfs on they 20th prestige lmao. Cause if that’s the case then that’s bs, but if it tries to make sure that all 12 players on BOTH squads are equal in skill, then that’s how it should be in the first place.

SBMM essentially turns every cod match into a competitive match

You have an invisible rank and it makes every game sweaty if you’re playing against other players that are also really good

And to your second part the higher your skill is the more likely you will be put on teams that have bad players to “balance it out”. That just means really good players are forced to carry

Cod is supposed to be a casual shooter but instead if you have decent stats it becomes a sweat fest that just isn’t fun. I don’t want to play competitive every match it’s draining

That’s without mentioning that in this game the higher your skill level the worse your connection is

You literally get punished for being good

Sooo the complaint is that you don’t steamroll the other squad every match.

Uhm no this is CoD nobody wants to play competitive every match

The old games that everyone loves still have SBMM it’s just much weaker than it is now

The only reason SBMM exists as it does now is to create brackets where new players can’t get wrecked and discouraged from spending money on the game

This isn’t about steamrolling it’s about enjoying the game for above average players

the skill matching in this is soooo aids

I’m still not seeing the issue tho. Noobs SHOULD get matched up wit noobs so that both sides have a fair chance instead of getting matched up wit anybody and going 3-35.

And it can be competitive without being a sweat fest. Them Hardpoints where you win 250-230 and had to EARN that s*** be the best s*** ever. Or even when you lose 243-250 and it was back and forth and even the whole match.

If you’re jus repeatedly blowing mfs away, it can start to feel like you’re doing nothing but farming kills for skins and s***.
