those two games have had way too much of that 'mission' type s*** in the maps for mine

compared to bo1 which was more or less just an "easter egg" mission per map and bo2 which was that + buildables

Tried them all. Just didn't like it.

For some reason, I enjoyed Extinction way more.

I have played every COD after MW except World At War.

I have yet to buy MW2R. I want to see how it looks.

i really only got into zombies after bo2, so i feel you. but bo3 zombies was one of the most fun times ever, you just really had to get into it fr. the bow dlc map (der eisendrache) probably was the most fun i’ve ever had in a cod besides multiplayer. and i’ve been hooked on zombies ever since

Need multiplayer remastered honestly. Campaign was great and I might play it some day but that's not what we remember to this day and age!

there are a lot of objectives to do in zombies, they’re just not as in your face because they’re considered “easter eggs”. often times they include building a new “wonder weapon” which will increase the fun level drastically.

on der eisendrache for example, you have to do specific stuff like finding 4 wolf symbols on portraits and pressing square on them. if you do it in the right order you get a specific part for your new wonder weapon etc.

I guess it's more fun with friends like GTA Online. If you play with random people it can be a mess.

It's fantastic. Still have my MW2 themed 360 (only because the thing won't turn on anymore though, otherwise I'd have sold it by now ). Bought it on PC a few years back and have returned to it regularly, still holds up Modern graphics would be nice yeah, but what I care more about is a reinvigorated player base & some fresh ideas that don't disrupt the core of the multiplayer. Also important that they keep the "feel" the same, not like MW -> MWR. Didn't feel right, you know what I mean? The gunplay.

I remember reading about some leak that had a s*** ton of MW2 maps coming to the current MW but doesn't seem like much of that came to fruition. Maybe they were scared it would cannibalize the player base? Because if it ever were to happen, it's a huge event. Would say MW2 is the undisputed favorite of this franchise. Maybe the fact that they've been slow on adding those reworked maps to MW means it might still be on the cards for the future, we can only hope so!

Yeah. I still had fun playing MWR though. And it was cool going from one online to the other one. I enjoyed both that year (MWR and AW).

And this MW. I've had a lot of fun. I was thinking about playing the campaign again before next season starts.

they should’ve just made MW Warzone only and then add MW2 as the multiplayer

Whilst great for its time i dont think some people understand how one dimensional mw2 mp is compared to newer games (not just COD - FPS’s in general)

There is zero chance they can get away with it as a standalone full-year release

The complaints about lack of depth after a month write themselves

when the game drops the warzone map will supposedly change into a cold war themed setting, pretty sure they’ll keep the battle pass system too, activision is making bank using the battle pass system

yeah the battle pass gives you cod points when you level it up so you can just use instead of your actual money, it’s great
