Kr0niicYup, the ports are done already. USB mods are widely circulating, so folks are booting up the game with modded stats, max prestige accounts, and wall hacks.
In Domination in particular on Black Ops 1, lots of folks are getting their multiplayer bricked by people messing with the XP earn rates. You kill one person and get what's essentially infinite negative XP from the kill, which deranks you below level 1. Since you need to be level 1 to join a multiplayer game, you're effectively prohibited from accessing multiplayer again. The only potential salve is immediately force closing the application when you see the negative XP pop up on your screen, but you need to be fast, otherwise you're screwed.
Much less egregious, but there are folks modding XP earn rates for the inverse, granting you enough XP to shoot up to max rank instantly with a single kill. This won't kill your game, but it will instantly and forcibly skip the entire progression track for you.
So, that's a wrap. Was a fun week. If only Activision gave a modicum of a s*** about this s*** and put some money and effort into the port to get it on dedicated servers with anti-cheat, but alas, here we are. It was fun while it lasted.
