sad thing is that no remaster of any old game will hold peoples attention. activision knows ppl will still cop this for the nostalgia and they’ll still reliably make their billions
yes
That s*** is boring, idk how anyone can advocate for not having sbmm.

i just don't wanna play cod champs after playing slightly above average 🤷🏻‍♂️

What k/d is slightly above average to you
Y’all really be wanting to s*** on terrible players
Absolutely nigga
This could be best cod of all time
Imagine they get all licensed weapons
0 chance that happens
What k/d is slightly above average to you
like a 1.3 kd on tdm or something. i feel like sbmm is broken and puts you against people way against your skill level. being competitive is fine but there should be a balance and they haven't figured it out

bruh it’s not just that, sbmm will have you in matches not being able to use anything off meta or experimenting with different guns and classes, which sucks even more cause we have the gunsmith now with hella attachments but only a select few are even viable cause of it

So you want to be able to use any gun at the expense of still s***ting on lesser players which makes the game completely unenjoyable for them.

Seemed fine to me for MW and I say that as someone who was completely new to COD and got better as I kept playing and sbmm mirrored my progress and it was fine.

MW was actually pretty enjoyable tbh. vanguard and cw it seemed like sbmm turned up to 100. i think if you grew up with the older cods then you would understand it was a cycle. you'd go 2-20 your first few games and then once you got good you would go 40-5 and most old cod players miss that feeling. i do like being competitive tho, i feel like i've gotten a lot better as a player cause of sbmm but at the same time i don't enjoy it as much

All these new players will never know what it feels like to start off with a 0.10 kd ratio, build it up to a 0.33 kd ratio over the next month and ending the year with a 1.00 kd ratio. Missing out on quite the satisfying experience.

its literally impossible to get above a 1.2 kd nowadays. if you play one great game the next 10 will be hell and bring your kd back down. its the feeling of not progressing that sbmm brings and i feel like it needs some changes

Haven't played recently tbh. Skipped Black ops & Vanguard. Had like a 1.7 in WZ & 1.15 in MW while I'd average something similar to my WZ kd in editions I played before SBMM. Think it has its advantages and disadvantages, but I think tuning it down a little would definitely aid in that sense of progression. Just play a great game to spend the next 5 getting knocked back down as you say.
Absolutely nigga
Exactly, don't understand how this is even a debate, the best CODs had no to weaker SBMM.
But that s*** ain't going no where

the game would be much more healthy if using meta weapons all the time wasn’t a requirement. If i experiment with a weapon i’m gonna learn how to get better with it to use with the sweats. I’m not trying to sweat every match late at night like it’s a CDL tourney either
Not to mention before sbmm teams would actually be more balanced. And lobbies wouldn’t disband every match, forming some fun tight knit sessions. Do you even remember how it was before lmao?

I just said mw was my first cod and I played Cold War, sbmm is fine. Imagine b****ing about not being able to destroy people who barely know how to play. You don’t have to use the meta to be good. I’ve got destroyed by players not using the meta. If you’re good, you can do good with any weapon especially in a damn pub.
all we need is an improved TTK, better spawns, weaker SBMM and some good maps.
that's IT.

On MW, my first handful of months I was at like a 0.9, by the time I stopped playing the game I was a 1.3. On Cold War, I was a 1.7 to start and pretty much stayed around that.

bruh no wonder lol, you have no idea how it was before. You just started playing CoD with sbmm being at its peak so ofc it’s worked to your advantage. It’s whole purpose is to keep you @ 1 k/d
I didn’t even talk about connection issues becoming a universal issue due to the fact sbmm favors your 3-4 game performance over connection due to disbanding every lobby. Cold war and vanguard had some of the worst lag and it was constant for a lot of people.
and you act like lobbies in the past was a full team of great players vs s***ty ones, there was always 2-3 good players on each team and the rest average or below, evening everybody out. Have you even watched older gameplay videos? CoD is not hard to actually get good in in so if you’re that s***ty you need to learn how to get better regardless

Like I said above, I was trash in mw and I had to watch tips and load out videos to eventually get good. Towards the end of me playing mw I was literally dropping 40+ kills at least every 15/20 games I would play and it started getting boring. I can’t imagine how much worse it would’ve been without sbmm.
We can agree to disagree though. I like having to try hard in pubs so I’m here for sbmm

Never had this problem in my life
I got a 1.84KDR in MW, 2 in Cold War, and 1.60 in Vanguard
I never got the fuss about SBMM but I also come from a fighting game background where playing against people below you can be some of the most boring s***
