I think it makes complete sense for a game like this lmao. It actually makes it more challenging and equally fair for everyone in a good way. Camping has been in cod forever too

camping existing and the game promoting it are two different things. also lets not pretend it actually makes mp fair, realistic or challenging lol. it's cod, not a milsim lol

the same ppl will still run the lobbies, the beta has already shown that. There's just added inconveniences, which is what they do every cod when they try to cater to casuals. gun streaks, nuke specific guns, killstreaks not cycling, etc, are all examples

I’ve seen almost 0 camping in my time playing. And maybe they did that so it’s more fair and equal for the 99.9% of people who play which is their market Reload cancelling is a non issue to regular people, it just makes it harder for sweats and having staged reloads is not some crazy new concept in shooters at all. It just evens the playing field a bit more and you have to be more aware

i've experienced s*** tons of games with campers already, in a beta lol, which pathetic. Especially on farm 18 and mercado, in shoothouse/side with the roof, and in the back building or area by the rv respectively.

Making it more fair means all players have the same opportunities and access, not same skill level. Taking away instant reload , a tryhard centric mechanic, for universal staged reloads does that. That quite literally makes it more fair. If you don’t like that fine but they’re allowed to make slight changes to core gameplay game to game

Because it’s not something the game teaches you at all. You’re not supposed to be doing it by original design of the game, you only know it if someone else teaches you or you do it by accident. Most people who play do not know about it or use it. It’s not skill based, it’s a timed double button pressing exploit

i'm not even talking about YY, you cannot cancel a reload. yet that's not an issue in other major fps games like bf, csgo, valorant, etc, but apparently now it's a good feature to have.

I am just entertained by the s*** cause eventually I just be like "damn that Call of Duty not for me f*** it Imma play Battlefield IV". Like Call of Duty will change is my point the sweats will be mad sometimes, casuals will be mad, people will get at infinity ward they won't listen but just don't buy and we choose to support other multiplayer games

but to act like that s*** is some good/interesting gameplay mechanic is hilarious to me. even a game like siege allows you to cancel/interrupt a reload. just sounds like copium.
