At the beginning of the skit at the end of the don and the boss there’s a background beat that sounds like it should have been made into a full song
I’m glad all these legends are still dropping amazing albums.
Such a great album!
It’s really something you love to see
if there's one thing we could learn from the story of Busta Rhymes, is that you can be a legend even with an entire career of 6/10 albums just bc you hopped on a hot album that one time and people believed the hype
kids, believe in yourself and always take advantage of every opportunity that life throws your way
Best to worst:
The Coming
When Disaster Strikes
E.L.E.
The Big Bang
E.L.E. 2
Genesis
Anarchy
Back on My B.S.
Year of the Dragon
It Ain't Safe No More

Anarchy very underrated IMO. Lots of filler (like all his albums pretty much) and the weakest singles of any of his early albums but might have the most of his best songs IMO.
Salute da Gods, Enjoy da Ride, Anarchy, Why We Die, Cmon all My Ns cmon all my Bs, Bladow, the heist... the highs on that album are amazing

And some people want to say Hip-Hop is a young man’s game

The Coming is definitely not a 6/10 album. That’s blasphemy. And let’s be real, he’s hopped on a lot more than 1 album and made it hot. There’s some truth in your post but you’re exaggerating.
Album sounds expensive as hell. I love how experimental this is.. just wish it was shorter

It has highs but some incredibly awful lows too. I look at it as his first misfire and the album that marked the end of a golden era for Busta. No hits whatsoever and filled with dud after dud, but that's usually the case with transitional albums. With that being said, Enjoy Da Ride, Fire, Show Me What You Got, Get Out, The Heist and Ready For War are all fire
6 songs out of 20+ songs ain't so bad, huh?
And some people want to say Hip-Hop is a young man’s game
it was when the good artists were young lmao

I might be; cant really knock his place in the genre. man can rap, gave us Roc Marciano, plus a bunch of cool songs.
still, just like with Snoop (excl. Doggystyle n dre albums), you dont really go to Busta for albums save for a few times when you feel you like some of em better than the last time

You should revisit The Coming, When Disaster Strikes, ELE and The Big Bang soon. All great albums from front to back. His most consistent work. This album is also very strong, but I'm gonna wait for the hype to cool down before I speak more on it.

Going to check it out after this busta joint. Never been the biggest busta fan but seems like there are a couple of gems on here
