Was a fun one time watch. I lost my save though unfortunately and havent felt like playing it again from start at all . Letting those mods build up then maybe run it back too many other games. I dont replay games often rather do one detailed playthrough

Pure unfiltered bungo. People forget the D1 drop. Campaign was repetitive as s*** , strikes were copy paste, whole thing felt way undercooked.

That’s why marathon still confuses me, like all the components for a good bungie game are there, I guess it’s just the extraction shooter genre

I bought d1 at launch with the worst story known to man but enjoyedt he gameplay back then. I would never expect them then 12 or so years ago to be able to pull the same tricks on people. But people dont learn . Sony buying them is such a irresponsible purchased that it feels like they got connned or wanted to do it before Xbox could buy them back and continue Halo

One of the best feeling, well crafted extraction shooter out there when you really get into it. Blows games like Arc and Tarkov out the water. But Bungie couldn’t capture 100k+ daily players so they’d rather change the whole game around

if they can turn Marathon into something I actually want to play instead of just occasionally watch, I'm all for it but idk if they can truly turn things around before the bottom falls out on the whole op

I think extraction mode in a game is cool but being the entire game concept its hard to fully support it and have longevity when there are so many games out

Btw they’re moving away from seasonal updates so the next major updates aren’t considered to be "seasons" anymore (so instead of 'Season 3', they’re calling it the Symbiosis update)
