Starting 3/18 at 10 AM PT, Bungie is officially testing an experimental duo queue playlist for 2 weeks.
ONLY on PERIMETER for now.
BIG W. Bungie actually listening and acting quick.
Feels bad that the art director had to resign all because nobody quality checked some interns work, he can’t even reap the benefits of his hard work
last requirement crazy
https://twitter.com/marathondevteam/status/2033938972284752167Eh that’s not bad. Super easy to make a 5k kit. I think it serves its purpose in keeping free kits out and forcing you to at least put something on the line
Plus this is supposed to be the “endgame” map so it make sense that you would need to build up a semi-expensive kit to be allowed entry

Ranked only on weekends is a very cool solution to avoid the casual queue getting infested with 'friendly' players trying to finish contracts. Going to feel like peak trials again

I love this idea but feel like they're gonna change it since they're just testing it out
I love weekend-only cryo as a concept but idk how it’ll hide in practice… hmmm.
it also feels like this game is continuously kicking down people who don’t have a trio.
New endgame map every season perhaps? I hope if this is the case that we still get new regular maps than the 3 we have now
i haven't played yet but i'm interested. i liked ark raiders a lot but got quickly burned out with the resource management and crafting. is this game comparable on resource management at all? its the only thing keeping me from buying

Are we already close to the end of the season?
Ommggg me and my boy queued and got matched with this cool dude on outpost and we just ran 3 successful pinwheel runs, s*** was so exciting. I’m talking shootout among 3 different teams PLUS UESC Grenadiers and Rooks type s***, making it to exfil with a minute left
with an inventory valued at 13k

just need to collect certain salvage (they have clearly denoted map/locations to find them) in order to rank up your “skill trees”. I find myself needing to manage my inventory as I’ve got too many of a specific thing. (Hoarding good weapons) but no crafting.
No needing xyz material to make important items & valuables autosell for credits at the end of each game. The game has more of a focus on your play style / build based on your implants/cores (these are basically perks) that you equip and find.
You get a lot of essential loot just for completing quests (which I think are miles ahead of Arc Raiders’ quests) + levelling up your faction. I personally really enjoy the abundance of decent loot / weapons. Makes it feel like I can always start again in a decent place after a bad run. There is rare stuff that really slaps too, but gotta find it! only thing I’d say is the game does feel a bit tougher in solos.
