Unbelievable. Absolutely world class writing. Man how TF does he keep getting better.

What’s the theme/sound with this one?
i'm only halfway in but
unless the second half switches it up completely
this is EXACTLY the kind of vibe i love him the most over
immensely minimalistic this time again, and obviously somber melancholic

So there’s no “theme” with this one like his previous albums. In that sense it reminds me of Grief Pedigree where he’s moreso reflecting on his life in short parable form without being bound by a historical perspective or concept.
It seems to me like he’s pushed his own signature sound here. If you’ve heard Amani’s “An Unknown Infinite,” ( @DwindlingSun want your thoughts on this comparison) the production is similar in tone—super minimal, dark, extra cinematic. Which bodes well because I feel like these are some of his most packed bars yet, and they need room to breathe and be heard.
I will say that this seems like his angriest, saddest, most prideful and painful work yet. But he’s also still reveling in joy over what he has as opposed to what he’s been deprived of.

Thanks for the breakdown, can’t wait to hear it! Guessing it’ll be on iTunes next week, that’s what usually happens
