but matt killed this, it captures the energy of their best visuals while feeling like a representation of where they are now

kevin’s rapping on the family has to be his best ever

not even for technical prowess but just for the direct brutal honesty mixed with cleverness and strong delivery.

this is what i was hoping he was gonna do back on arizona baby but i know time and circumstance informs art a lot

after hearing TM, it makes a ton of sense why TF was only him and was meant to be the send off.

the person that inevitably uses this as their avi will be a insufferable s***poster

TM is the most accessible BH album to casual listeners

hearing a finished version of Los Angeles is making me really happy

that song reminds me of spring 2021 so much

they’ve always been about taking risks so it really is kind of genius to have the final BH album not be an actual BH album lol

TF feels like a great cautionary tale for anyone that wants to mix business and friendship too. like kevin really breaks down how selfishness, putting the money first, lack of empathy, bad communication etc really will ruin everything. from the relationships to the business connected to it.

idk if i’ve ever heard an artist base an entire project around that experience before

i say TF is the final album because TM was recorded during roadrunner sessions. pitchfork said the press release refers to TM as a “parting gift” lol

i think it’s really just an attempt to end their contract all in one swoop, because it was reported that they had to deliver 6 albums. TF is the real focused narrative to wrap up their career but TM is the added bonus
