repetitive hooks been a thing since sat 1 tho
i feel like that’s just their style and in a lot of boybands in general
I still f*** with it tbh
Yeah the hooks were a lot better on the Saturation trilogy for some reason
not that big a fan of these pop type tracks they do, few more of these in the latter half
count on me has ever so slightly grown on me but that chorus tho
one of their worst ever
just listened to it in the car and yeah that s*** sucks
I feel like they got hit with the Antidote effect that Travis had where that song got big and he kept chasing “hits”
I feel like this album was them going into a studio and saying “lets try to make something big like sugar”

the chorus is my favourite part of the song tbh
i'm pretty indifferent to the verses
Matt is on like every track but is a snooze fest. Merlyn is on like 3 songs and is amazing, but shamefully underused
Merlyn lowkey always comes thru and is rarely used one of my favorites on bh at this point

Idk if it’s just me, but he always gave me Danny Brown mixed with Kanye’s flow type vibes

Idk I don't hear this at all none of these sound like tryna be hits except for count on me

thats crazy to me, even their squeaky clean pop hooks usually dont irritate me but this chorus just makes me ill

This is why I hope Kevin is right about Brockhampton calling it quits later this year. We need solo albums. These members need to breath

I'm interested in how that plays out cause honestly I don't see some of these members with enough personality to have a whole album to themselves

yup, even though the marketing may seem they're all on board w/ the rollout i can't imagine someone like Dom (who's been teasing a lot of solo music recently) is too happy with such little inclusion on the record and its themes

a merlyn record in the same vein as tierra whack's whack world, v short songs with kooky beats and themes would be amazing to me
i like how joba found a rap style on this album that he does on all his verses rather than each verse being super different
Yes!!
I was gonna post
Iridescence = TLOP
Roadrunner = MBDTF
Comparing any album to MBDTF is a pretty bold claim
when are those bonus tracks getting leaked
When we get the CDs
My box set shipped yesterday
I feel like they got hit with the Antidote effect that Travis had where that song got big and he kept chasing “hits”

nah bc kevin deadass said they did the opposite
they were gonna make a pop record like sugar but went the rap route
