I’m talking about his chance at having a successful career. I’m sure the music will be decent

But it’s gonna be a lot harder for people to care about what he’s doing now. He kinda had a spotlight on him for little while with people waiting for him to do something, People don’t care anymore

I really liked brockhampton but I agree here I don’t foresee any of them besides Kevin and bearface having a long term musical career

I can’t believe it’s 2023 and people haven’t realized by now that literally every generation since the 60s have said those words.

I thought my generation (2001) would be the ones to finally realize it, but I hear people in my age range all the time saying how music “isn’t the same” anymore

If they are out there, they're not in the mainstream I'll tell you that much

Mr Morale comes to mind for being high quality, Utopia was kind of up there from a production stand point, apart from that I don't hear that high quality

saturation trilogy was great back in the day but it’s hard to take a lot of the rapping seriously in 2023 when we know who this people are

I agree, but that goes back to the point about there not being many new rap superstars.

There’s still a load of high quality music out there in rap and in numerous other genres, it’s just not so front and center in the mainstream
