Hell, even Beyonce is cursing in her music now(bad bunny influence btw). Reggaeton/latin music worse than ever right now, even though its more popular than ever. Rap worse than ever right now. I don’t agree with all of this, but as an artist who makes mysterious music, I definitely get the frustration with the feeling like your music will be overlooked if it doesn’t bump in the whip or you don’t make it short enough, or talk about s***or something.
Even still, while the audiences might not be as large, there are still audiences for other type of music, so it’s not all bad
