Cmon man, can you really blame us for not wanting to hear a tragic 5 minute skit about a pregnant woman committing suicide in the middle of an r&b album?

What in the f*** lol I haven’t listened yet but DAMN

Why’s he refusing to drop wish you well? Cause it blew up on TikTok?

probably has something to do with the fact that the beat is from this song

I will say, I think this is his best body of work to date. He got better vocally, production is just as consistent as ever and he tries new sounds.

Cannot wait to see everyone's reactions to this release. Real art.

    this post held up lmao

this album in its entirety grew up on me pretty quickly, can now see why people were saying this is his best work. not sure where it stands for me but I'm really enjoying it skits and all :)

also I hope he talks about the whole toxic thing more in the future

not only is it overexagerrated imo, I also wonder if it's something he decided to lean into more because everyone was talking about it or if his music would have took this turn regardless. or maybe a little of both?

either way, with him probably getting deeper into the mainstream after this project, I hope people finally start to recognize him for making different types of songs and not just stuff that is "toxic," it's one of the things about his music that I find appealing

In your opinion does the album narrative run fine without them?

I’m not a big narrative guy when it comes to music so take what I say with a grain of salt

Yea I think the album still runs smooth without the skits. I don’t feel like it sounds incomplete or anything

Definitely the most Overhyped midpack of the year so far, very disappointing

Between the content of this and the Airbnb s*** the other day Brent just seems like a c*** too, deeply unlikeable with no charm to make his toxicity endearing

you want a nigga to have charm to make his toxicity endearing for you

Yes?? You can be an a****** in a way that’s still palatable or relatable, if you just seem like an actual irl c*** then why would I want to listen to you lol

  • I’m nuts for not relating to making my pregnant gf want to kill herself thats So epic of him

I feel like the track listing made the ending song 'angel' underwhelming to some fans
imo I would put bad luck as the outro after that skit
the last skit was dramatic and sad as f*** but angel didnt really hit that hard to me

I agree, Angel is pretty anticlimactic for the outro imo

Can we do this? I wanted to a few days ago, it seems extra to have to follow each other and PM all the time

I really hope he's leaning into it for satire because if he's being serious and thought this was actually a good idea

This might be the one time I've heard a concept album and thought it really would've been better off without trying to tell a story

I ain't heard this album yet, but I feel like a good example of a skit being used well to transition through an album was GKMC imo.

GKMC although it had skits within the tracks it was mad short & sweet, which didn't distract too much from the next tracks.

Wish more albums stuck to that format if artists are incorporating skits tbh.

What did you dislike about it?

Just felt like the songwriting was lacking, and maybe it needed another banger or two, it hits a stride in the 2nd half but I didn’t think any tracks were the one on first listen

Obv excluding price of fame and wasting time, they’re both immaculate but we’ve had them for ages
