I like the album, still in my rotation. Haven’t checked writing credits, but I feel like Brent’s song writing ability is kinda elementary? I seen people say he takes a minimalist approach, but idk a lot of the songs just leave a lot to be desired. Like I love All Mine, but the lyrics just don’t do it for me. I wanted something deeper from it.

I don't think he's very good at that, as an rnb guy he could find writers that could give him that. Up to him at that point though if that's what he wanted to do. Though the not so deep lyrics is kinda his style at this point, so maybe that's just what he enjoys making.
