Yeah, that’s the plan. I just beat minish cap last month when it dropped on NSO, it’s incredible. Didn’t realize capcom made that one, they were really in their bag. Love that boss where you shrink down and enter his head and then theres a little battle inside his head lmao
YES omg that was the best fight for sure
definitely one of the most creative titles in the series
Also I can’t remember if it was you or someone else who recently played OoT/MM for the first time but if it was you I’d check out the 3DS remakes, they’re different enough that I think you’ll appreciate the contrast between them and the OGs
Best soundtrack of any of the kingdoms so far. I know this has been oft-repeated when it comes to this game but I really feel like I’m a kid again when I play this
its so beautiful
Yeap it's amazing how Mario was the epitome of childhood joy to me when I was a kid and the games are still so f***in magical I can easily tap right back into it as a geezer
I got my small Triforce and SMW era mushroom tattoos in 2016 and could not have possible predicted how hard Nintendo was about to win 2017 lol
Just started Skyward Sword never played any motion control games at all really but this is fun af

Ngl I hate the motion controls and turned them off
i think it makes the game much better with a pro controller and button/dual joysticks but everyone’s different

Did it feel like the game was too easy with regular controls?
Trial of the Sword challenge in BOTW is f***ing bullshit bruh
Last level got me hot

I remember there was this 1 specific level I was struggling with for a while but besides that I really loved the challenge.

It’s fun as hell but fighting a Lynel + a guardian + 20 bokoblins on horses just led to me not even able to get off the ground before I got hit again
Then you gotta start all the way over from the beginning of final trials
I dont need a fully charged master sword anyways f*** it

Save your ancient arrows for this level

Ancient arrows will make the last trial very easy ngl
It kind of makes me sad that after TOTK comes out I’ll probably never have a reason to come back to BOTW

Now do it in master mode

Motion controls just didn’t feel satisfying to me, button controls just work and are lower effort
I love skyward sword but it does feel lazy sometimes. There’s 2 fire temples
and so many missions and sequences feel like filler, like when you have to leave, go somewhere else, call the robot to pick something up, then return to the sky and go back to your original location. It happens like 5 times in the game.

youre being generous calling it "lazy sometimes"
the giant boss foot fight around the giant spiral path
how many times syou do have to do that again?
Once I beat all the side quests ill have completed everything
Except collecting all the Korok seeds though
all that work for literal s*** as a reward no thanks
Hell nah you a demon lmao
Nah the reals demons are the ones collecting 950 korok seeds
Sheesh
That would take the average player like 200 or more hours probably, insanity

yeah those are filler sequences for sure, it’s so sad since the core Zelda components that are there are fantastic, but it’s piled under all this dogshit. If all of that stuff was cut out, it would still be a really long game. It’s like a 9/10 game that’s bogged down to a 7 or 8 because of filler and repetition
