broo when i did my second divine beast and realized they were all the same i was like aint noo f***ing way man. yall did not just do that in place of actual unique bosses
What sucks is that mechanically they aren't that bad with each one tying in with a specific sheikah slate ability but they could've done so much more with them
and they're so easy to beat too

yep
Tbh the only bad shrines are the combat ones, once you beat one the others wont give you anything noteworthy. The worst normal shrine still is a fun 2 minutes of puzzles, and they're a better reward than the nth heart piece in a otherwise empty hyrule field like in ocarina or tp
Divine beasts arent up to par only in visuals and the bosses, the rest is great. People treating older dungeons like they're all all timers Is funny to me, cause for many of them presentation does the heavy lifting. You cant tell me dodongos cavern, jabu jabus belly, Shadow Temple, most Wind waker dungeons, tp forest Temple, goron mines, Temple of time, skyward sword earth Temple are better than divine beasts. Shrines criticism is also a little overblown, they cant be compared to dungeons and they're generally a good reward for exploration, with the main criticism being again the lack of visual diversity. The dungeons i listed are still good for the most part, but so are the beasts. Like vah naboris and vah ruta are on the level of the best dungeons of the series, albeit not in my personal top 5. I will say that totk has to have at the very least actual different, fun, bosses and unique identities, and maybe a little longer, but im fine with the level design of the beasts
as p3d said the concept is definitely really cool and fits botw perfectly i just wish they had better presentation and music overall. vah naboris and ruta are def the best ones tho for sure

What was that about the music
the shrine theme is a banger

when you 70 shrines deep on some confusing ass wind puzzle watching a walkthrough vid on youtube that s*** dont be hitting anymore
Hot take maybe buy vah naboris Is probably in my top 5 3d zelda dungeons. Amazing ost, incredible puzzles, just long enough, perfect difficulty level and the only good blight ganon fight. I had fun with the leadup to the dungeon too. Only flaw is again the presentation

Fair enough
I think it's pretty cool that it's randomly generated and the tracks never play in the exact same way everutime

Gerudo desert is peak
Artbook had some amazing structures tho so im hopeful
Also sheikah tech wont be as prevalent so they wont go with the divine beasts part 2

the vah naboris ganon shouldve been the only blight ganon boss, that s*** stands out so much from the other 3 its like why arent they all this different
Also I just recently learned that the blight ganons are in the castle if you haven't beat them prior to going and I hate that
they should've been mini bosses in the final dungeon and the divine beasts bosses should have been different, would've been so much cooler
koloktos bro and the music getting more intense as it goes on gtfoh man that game is so dumb good

Yeah, its a challenging battle, the most memorable boss fight probably, and i agree It shouldve been the only blight. I loved especially how he used electricity to strip you of your weapon occasionally, cool use of the mechanic and it made it mandatory to not spam attack him and dodge Better. The others in comparison are so underwhelming and borderline boring. Zelda isnt known as the series with the cool boss fights, but at least they were fun and the designs were iconic.
I really liked calamity ganon too. The giant pig not so much

Skyward sword will get its flowers in due time, that game just came out at the worst time for the series

Dark beast Ganon works well as a theatrical final moment but I wish there was an actual 2nd phase to the boss in between both forms

Other zelda final bosses had more theatrical fights and they were better too, twilight princess peak was the final boss for example. 4 phase ganondorf fight with 1st phase being fighting a Zelda puppet, phase 2 against ganon catching him sprinting towards you with midna like a matador, phase 3 horseback fight with Zelda helping and the goat phase 4 with the 1 on 1 sword fight sheesh. I pray the totk ganondorf fight is able to reach these levels, Imagine you and ganondorf fighting in mid air flying through hyrule
