Tbh I played 90% of this game in stealth mode because I'd often paraglide directly into enemy bases and just shoot arrows at heads or explosives for one hit kills.
The only time I encountered Lynels was when I absolutely needed to at Hyrule and that mountain obj with the shock arrows. 😲 it actually took me longer to figure out attacks because of it. Man, I love BOTW.
Am I strong enough to f*** him up now
Have
Lynel Mask, Hylian Shield, Master Sword, F*** ton of all kinds of arrows, ancient bow
Lmao posts like these are why BOTW Lynels are top 1 Zelda enemies OAT
Not only are they scary as f***, once you learn to fight them, the fight is so satisfying and epic

Most shook I've ever been from a Zelda game was running away from a Lynel fight I wasn't trying to deal with and that s*** teleported to me
Is this going to be BotW with building? I was hyped but it looks so much as an extension to the original. Which is not a bad thing.

there doesn’t appear to be shrines anywhere on the map, from what we’ve seen. So it’s probably gonna have like 7 or 8 big dungeons instead of 120 mini dungeons. so it will probably feel very different.
Also the verticality of the map changes it a lot, the whole botw map may only be like 1/3 of the game when you consider how big and dense the content could be underground and in the sky

Appreciate the thoughtful response!! This is helpful. Fewer large dungeons is definitely cool to hear. That brings some excitement back for me, haha

Been thinking about the sky islands kinda like Wind Waker. Sailing/Flying from island to island. Discovering the uniqueness of each one. Doubting there's gonna be any sky island cities. But all that possible content up there. Then unlike Wind Waker, actually being able to explore the world below. This could be the greatest Zelda game yet
Highkey might go through one more replay of BOTW soon
I wanna finally beat master trials on the hard difficulty
it takes so much prep though
anyone here played the DLC? tryna figure out if i should buy it just to play before TOTK drop
ive never been more excited for a game ever. This is the longest gap between zelda games ever so we are about to feast
This little kid in Breath of the Wild might have been hinting at Tears of the Kingdom and its sky islands all along.
I remember talking to him and I was like "the heck is you talking about, kid?" Turns out the kid was a doggone prophet.

Master Trials DLC was some of the most fun I've had in the game. Worth it imo.
I shouldnt have fallen in love with BOTW again so close to release
A beautiful game for real

You probably decided to get it already but its almost worth it for Hero’s Path mode.
Improves the already amazing exploration by showing you areas you havent been to yet. Every blade of grass.

Very much worth it the shrines it adds are great and the dungeon is better than the original 4 dungeons
The treasure chest dlc is cool too to visit some places and to get some fun outfits

I'm having so much fun with it even more than when I first played it

Man I replayed it like 6 times just to try different approaches with each playthrough. Was LIT.

I always kinda stick to the kakariko-hateno then lanayru initial path but I can imagine just going straight to gerudo desert or death mountain being so cool

Yeah, it's really fun to explore in different orders. In my first playthrough I went to the Lanayru region but I've tried all kinds of different roads and approaches through all my playthroughs.

Now the one thing I wanna try is the straight to hyrule castle route
