Any recommendations on which region I should tackle first? (I’m assuming the dungeons are attached to each).
I’m going in the order that purah suggests. Game heavily pushes you towards rito first so I did that. Then if you speak to purah again she’ll suggest goron. So on and so on
So I’m heading to the regions, doing shrines and towers along the way. Clearing the dungeon. Then trying to fully explore the neighboring towers and shrines before moving to the next region
After Goron it’s Gerudo and then Zora last
game distracts u so easily s***s crazy
and its even less in ur face than how rdr2 did it with the minimap showing where something is happening yk
Bro I only just fought the wind thing. Then as I was gonna carry on finding the stables I get a side quest to become a skate boarder… then I found an optional boss and he slapped me. Then I did some mining to get money so I could buy new clothes for the cold.
THEN I decided I wanted to get some meat and get stuff for some recipes.
I’ve not even upgraded my battery stuff yet or really touched the building stuff in like a day or two. Literally spent most of today in the snowy part lmao.I’ve done loads of shrines and hoarded the blessing things. Gonna spend tomorrow looking for new equipment and levelling up my battery pack thing.
Barely even explored the depths too…
This game is MAD
is it lame to use a guide lol
Not at all. Especially as someone who isn’t a fan of open world games in general I find that guides help streamline the experience and highlight what things are worth checking out and what’s a waste of time. Helps put open world burn out on hold for a little bit
I had a good time using a guide for BOTW.
I’m blind for TOTK since I’m playing on release and I don’t really think it’s like a huge upgrade in experience over using a guide. I’ll definitely be using guides to find koroks and tedious stuff like that when I feel like farming them.
Wasted like half my meals while I was gliding under death mountain in the depths, didn't know I needed flame resistant armor down there
Also why tf do diamonds not have a special effect when u fuse it with a weapon
I feel scammed smh

That poster is dope af btw
Nintendo fan boy checking in 🫡
Thank you bruh. It’s a cardboard display from a retail shop that I was able to acquire and take home and put up on the wall with a s*** load of Velcro lmao

Was hyped when I found a magic rod that said it brings out the full power of gems
Put my Diamond on it and the s*** is just a one handed sword

I was so close to doing that but ended up attaching a ruby to it thankfully

Used the rod + ruby on my back to get through all the cold areas near rito village
The rod with a sapphire is also really strong

I mean it’s a lot of dmg that’s the effect lol, useful early game
But if you’re far in the game its better to sell them because you can easily farm 30+ dmg fusion materials

When there’s a korok puzzle where there’s a rock formation that’s missing one rock you can just drop a rock hammer or some fused weapon in your inventory and it works
Completed the regional phenomena. Enjoyed them a lot more than botw.
I’m gonna explore for a while before going back to the main story.
Good to hear the divine beasts sucked d***

Fun fact the empty space in the formation is always pointing towards the missing rock and I only realized this after probably 300 hours of botw + totk
