I feel the pull to buy a switch for this game. And ever since it seems like the switch 2 hit late next year or 2025, I might spring for it.

I personally think TOTK will come in slightly under BOTW. Maybe 2-3 points below

But I’m hoping TOTK matches or exceeds BOTW

They said when the switch launched it would have a longer lifespan than their other consoles. 2025 is prob about right for a switch 2

Do you care about the story in this game? Personally botw story bored me to absolute death. I just liked it from a gameplay perspective. Lots of zelda story and cutscenes never hit for me

I treat Zelda stories like any myths tbh, how powerful or good they are depends on how much meaning and weight you ascribe to them. Loved the beautiful simplicity of botw, really excited to see how this shakes out given that it’s likely going to be more involved than last time

It served its purpose.

BotW wasn't that interesting but I hope this one is better. I'm not crazy over zelda game's stories but it's worth paying attention to imo
