StardustSure, but for the masses, a new mario kart exclusive to the switch 2 will do more than totk at higher resolution, considering the Wii U port sold 50 million copies and Is still a system seller 6 years in. When i'll get the next switch i'll obviously play my favorite switch 1 games as well for the increase in fps, but it wont be the main reason
Yeah I mean mk10 is inevitable and it’ll definitely push sales like you said but not sure if it’s coming alongside the new console. There’s still new dlc coming to mk9 for a while and the new console is probably about to be announced any day now
I think metorid prime 4 or odyssey 2 is more likely

NunTheWiserI wouldn’t even say that I’m not liking what I see… Im just nervous on if it will deliver. I guess I’ve just loved Zelda for so long and how little we know about this game while approaching release date just gives me nervous excitement. But the massive focus with building things in the footage we have seen so far leaves me definitely a bit nervous.
The previews are unanimously positive, many are excited to no end, i think this game will be a game changer, again, so you souldnt worry about that. Nintendo is being very confident in this game. And also, ultrahand will be just one of the many ways to interact with the world, and its very intuitive, rewarding even uncreative people

Yeah I can understand that tbh they've been very conservative with anything regarding story and like game structure so far
I just hope all the previews on the building things mechanics have just been to prepare us for that so we can be mentally ready to wrap our heads around the creative options… but yeah idk. If that’s like THE THING of this game, yeah - I’m nervous about that.
I know this is like a basic b**** thing to say at this point but I’m reeeeeeally hoping for some dungeons. Gimme a BOTW world and creativity combined with some of the traditional Zelda s***. I say that as someone who loved BOTW, to be clear

Metroid prime 4 is cross-gen, they announced it for switch they'll never change that decision. New Mario tho is another huge system seller, Mario movie is at 900 million $, the character Is more popular than ever. But we're going way off topic so lets end it here!!!

Oh yeah I hear you, I think you shouldn't worry from what you can piece together from the last trailer there is definitely gonna be dungeons or at least big areas that function the same way with lots of puzzles to complete to move forward

One last comment I just wanna say they technically cancelled the version of Metroid prime 4 that was announced, and restarted development, so plans might have changed
However I think a lot of games, potentially even new Mario games, could be crossgen as well. There’s so many switches that they won’t want to miss out on 100m+ potential buyers.

Yeah, i can see Mario being cross-gen, but also MP4. They cant go back on that announcement, its too late, and it serves no purpose to them, mp4 isnt a system seller. Mario kart 10 is 100% next gen only and probably the launch title, alongside some performance patches for their recent big games

Yeah those could be dungeons as well, although in those cases its harder to make out, could be the challenge before entering the actual dungeons like ive mentions a dozen pages ago. But either way they'll be clearly more interesting than the divine beasts

Not to mention that this game is taking the BOTW concept to new heights (ahah) like the over world was the dungeon in botw but now it's going the extra mile with the same idea I love it
