Really hard to say. I can only speculate. It might just be cutscenes that at certain points of the plot are revealed to us, the player, and not necessarily for Link himself to see, although it's definitely possible that through some magic or some kind of memory-type-of-mechanic that he himself will be able to see what she's up to.

The thing is that every single cutscene in botw was through links point of view, with the only exception being zelda putting the sword in the pedestal after link was defeated, and that was from the point of view of the deku tree, in fact he tells us Zelda put it there. Thats why that scene in the temple is weird to me

Time travel is my prediction or a random flashback, but not sure why they would show that in the trailer

That seems to be the case but how the f*** can they add a whole time travel mechanic on top of everything they've shown its impossible

I don't recall how they did it in Skyward Sword but I do remember we were looking for Zelda in Skyward Sword as well and at times I think we got to see what she was up to through cutscenes when we reached certain areas that she had recently visited. I haven't played it in ages so I might remember it wrong but if it's something you want to dive deeper into then I would say that perhaps look into how they handled the same situation in Skyward Sword.

In skyward sword Zelda was in the same time period as us, in fact the first half of the game has us chasing her since she reached the lower ground before us in the incident at the beginning of the game. We do see her pov only in the end credits

Zelda's tear has the exact symbol as the recall ability, like they match perfectly

Interesting. What if the Recall ability has more functionality than what's been shown? Since it has the same symbol as Zelda's tear, perhaps it can also be used to connect with her somehow.

Remember how you could cast stasis on people once it’s upgraded what if recall could be used on people when upgraded too. Maybe Zelda uses the tear to travel through time, since the symbols are the same it’s possible the tear boosts recall to an insane degree.

There was a pretty solid hint at this being a thing in the gameplay demo, in one of the sky island structures you can a destroyed Construct robot and I wouldn't be surprised if you could use recall on it to restore it

honestly it’s better than weapon crafting. In most games crafting is usually just like adding little parts where each parts change a small thing aesthetically and maybe gives better stats

Imagine if fallout 5 had something like this, If you could like pick up a stop sign in a game and then weld it to a mini gun for example. Or put two guns together to make a new gun or something.

I think you underrating the snappiness of fusing. I feel like the main criticism crafting gets in games is that its heavily menu based and as such doesnt feel rewarding or even interesting when you interrupt gameplay to open up a menu, use some useless s*** in your inventory to make something slightly more useful. Like think about how many times did you go out of your way to craft s*** in elden ring, i know i didnt, at least to the levels the devs were expecting me to. Fusing instead is done with the press of two buttons, you can see the outcome before even beginning the fusion and you can guess the effects by the quirky designs and item descriptions, which not only are stupid or cool as f*** depending on what items you're fusing, but also pique your curiosity, something i only feel in Minecraft when it comes to crafting specifically. Lastly, it emphasizes durability system even more while fixing its major issues. Crazy they took a dead rising 2 mechanic and nintendified it to make it genius
