large gatherings of any kind -- from any political group -- are pretty foolish in the context of covid, esp in a time where the virus is at it's worst.

Because one side is hypocritical about their views and the other isn't. Don't get me wrong. Trump supporters are generally worse when it comes to the pandemic, but the burden of hypocrisy is on the Biden side since they bashed Trump and his supporters for doing exactly this all along.

You get what I'm saying? I just can't stand people carrying out stupid, reckless behavior that worsens the pandemic.

If you knew anything about me, you'd know I've BEEN criticizing Trump and his supporters for how they approach the pandemic. I'm just saying we need to do better because this stuff is just stupid and irresponsible. People are going to get the virus and die as a result of this. These people celebrating might not suffer, but they'll pass it onto other people.

I'm just terrified about what's about to come during this winter. This isn't about left vs. right. American society in general sucks for this.

Trump was criticized for his management of covid, but not everyone who opposed trump was crazy about shutdown and masks. He was the most hated president in modern history. He brought out people from every strata to vote against him.
