an interesting read and yes this is an old article lol
Tv show of life
Rewatching. On s2 Skylar still a b****. Even before Walt gave her any reason to she just being passive aggressive for no reason

WOAT character
It kills me how people try and say it’s sexist to s*** on her when she’s just weird throughout the entire thing lol
Had no problem covering up for Ted but wanted to pearl clutch for Walt, she didn’t even get anything out of doing it either
Deadass d***riding for the love of the game

Difference is Walt is her husband while Ted’s of no relation, and d*** manufacturing and distribution is significantly more dangerous and immoral than tax fraud. She sees cooking the books for Ted as an outlet to release her frustration seeing her husband getting away with murder whilst everyone around them loving him and being concerned for him.
She a b**** too tho
Completely in character for him to do
Rewatching just finished season 3. I wish I had been watching it as it aired (didn’t start watching til after season 4 finished)
I can’t imagine how crazy it was to end the season that way and have to wait to watch more.
Show was among the best ever through 3 seasons then blew them out the water with 4 and 5.
This edit is insanely dark
A look into the mind of Todd lmaooooo
I love how they explored more of Todd in El Camino (a movie which I didn’t particularly enjoy if imma be honest).
And iirc the backstory of Todd is that his mother committed suicide so perhaps that somehow must explain why he’s like this.

That was the only part of the movie worth watching fr fr. Seeing the stoic Todd singing his heart out in the car was hella unexpected lmao
The Jesse vs the garage dudes stuff was lame especially the out of place John wick shootout at the end

That’s exactly what I didn’t like about it – the forced action in the climax, like are we supposed to be cheering for Jesse?
Especially when he’s in a violent act (ain’t he supposed to be anti-gun/violence after he had no choice but to kill an "innocent" man, aka Gale, which scarred him deeply).
The writers did not cook with that movie; lowkey they probably should not have even bothered making it.
At the end of the day Jesse is still a d*** dealer / criminal, and that’s the life he chose so he had to deal with the collateral damage (his loved ones being hurt).
Don’t get me wrong; Jesse was essential for the show’s survivability and the writers and Aaron Paul did a phenomenal job with the character; I just don’t agree with the final outcome they chose for Jesse.
(Lmao totally did not expect to s*** on El Camino / the Breaking Bad writers today)

Bro literally let Jesse have half the cash when he could have easily kept him captive or killed him and he comes back and they suddenly wanna do a western shootout, s*** came outta nowhere and came off so forced and silly
They clearly didn’t have much inspiration when they slapped that movie together, it’s got that Netflix original stink all over it
