and got more of a gritty crime drama like Midnight Express or Hunger

I saw a tweet saying that whenever Harley Quinn gets recast, MIA should play her. That’s fax.

Movie was pretty good. Cloning idea was cool and not expected from what they put out before the movie. Skarsgard and Mia steal the show though.

This movie thoroughly haunted me in a good way. One of those that colors your dreams and thoughts for the next few hours if that makes sense.

I can’t help but wonder what this would’ve been like taken further though. Like Cronenberg was clearly the only one that could direct this film and have it be the way it was but I feel like it could’ve been a hard NC-17 (like early Gaspar Noe) and packed a bigger punch
