Whats wrong with boxing is that promoters wanna follow the mayweather/pacquiao blueprint.....those 2 fighters are a once in a lifetime. Those 2 fighters achieved s*** that no other had. Pacquiao was the stone cold killer and Mayweather was the genius. Their stardom isnt even on the same level as Spence or Crawford....and it may be even 10x higher with no exaggeration at all. Pacquiao done fought through dozens of world class fights. Mayweather done beat every top dog convincingly. Crawford fights Kavaluskus. Spence fights Ocampo. The promoters really think fans are stupid. But the fans that actually PAY for boxing are not.

I don’t even believe promoters understood/understand Mayweathers appeal to this day.
