Yep....MBJ has a career. play fighting gets him more money and its safer. Guys like him aint commitment to a fight.

We don't know what his training was like and he doesn't have sparring footage so we don't know how good he is lol. It could all been padwork and camera s***. We don't know if he sparred or worked on technical mistakes and s***. I'm not saying he'd beat anyone I'm saying until we see him in the ring for real it's hard to say anything. Jake been through 2 legit camps where he brought in legit partners and coaches and trained in big bear from what I heard. He seems to legit respect the sport enough to train hard at least.
MBJ could be nice but he also could just be another hollywood boxer overpaying for pad work classes. We don't know lol.

This facts, he's a legit A tier actor, why the f*** would be commit a whole camp and months of his life to fighting a YouTuber or ex athlete lol. You'd have to bring in real money for that

I mean we do know fam....there's footage, (not sure about sparring footage) but there's plenty of clips here and there of some of the training he did and interviews with niggas discussing the work he put in. We have seen Jake in the ring, and he's terrible. If Jake was decent I wouldn't have this opinion.

I don't think Jake bad at all. Considering how new he is he seems better than I thought he'd be. I know guys at the gym who trained longer and look worse lol.

See i can respect that if you actually believe he's not bad, i cant argue against that. But to me personally from what i've seen i think he's terrible

What exactly in his game looks terrible for a guy with that amount of experience?
And what is MBJ game looks better to you?
His only footage is basic padwork s***, until you see guys fight or spar you don't know how theyll actually go. That real pressure changes how you fight. Mad people look nice on pads or light spars but when them shots hit heavy you can be a completely different fighter. We don't know where he's at in terms of composure under pressure or actual movement and fighting. To be 100 we don't know much about either since jakes fighting legit newbies and there's no fight footage of MBJ

Don't get me wrong I completely understand that MBJ could get in the ring and be complete s***. I'm basing it off of his training ive seen and what other pros who's trained with him has said, could they be gassing him when they say s*** like "MBJ could go pro if he really wanted" IDK, but to me it holds some sorta weight when some pros have said that.

With Jake I did say earlier that if he was just a youtuber doing this for "fun" I wouldn't be as harsh on him. But he himself claims to be a professional boxer and "I really do this boxing s*** bruh" so if that's the case I will judge you as such.

Lets take today's fight for example. A lot of them punches he landed he was just swinging with his head down not even seeing where he was throwing, Nate was just dumb enough to get hit by them due to lack of defense. Nothing Jake did today screamed "Damn he decent".....it was more so how terrible Nate was. And I know i'm not that off when I say that when Jake himself said he wasn't too thrilled about his performance and rated it a 6/10

Yeah but those guys supposed to help hype the film, they ain't gonna trash them, especially if he's their friend and they trained together. He also said some bullshit like he could fight Roy jones at the time so a lot of it could just be hollywood hype for the movie. Only thing I know for sure is he couldn't fight Roy now, much less then.
And Jake got holes in his game but for how long he's been doing it he looks pretty much on pace for someone who's legit trying to get better and training seriously. It sucks he fights bums and we can't see if he's actually getting better but based on s*** I seen he seems aight. He ain't near pro level but 2 years in nobody at that level unless you got wilder type power.

If Celebrity A plays in the NBA all star celebrity game and is terrible in my opinion

Whereas Celebrity B didn't but he has videos showcasing he has good fundamental skills and stories from NBA pros saying he could possibly hoop at a high level and that he dedicated a year of his life to becoming a great ball player........I'm wrong for believing Celebrity B is more than likely better than Celebrity A who already showed me he's trash?
