Well, Smith has been shown he can be out boxed, in the past. And alverez is one of the best/ skillful boxers in that weight class and has good power/speed. But smith did look really good in his last fight
Yea true Smith has power but he really showed up against Hart
Lol Dillian Whyte
I been saying he belongs at cruiserweight, he just got knocked out by one of the smallest current top heavyweights and at 256, he’s carrying at least 50 pounds as excessive blubber/ fat that he can lose easily with a good/clean diet and cardio

what? Alvarez got completely outboxed by old ass Kovalev.
that KO hurt my heart
Whyte will come back and wash him in the rematch he was holding back too much

That was clearly because Alvarez, was fighting over confident in that fight, and was fighting kovalev like he was the puncher, instead of being a slick counterpuncher/ boxer that fights behind the jab
Anyone watching Porter?

Felt like i was watching a trainer beating up a kid during his first month at the gym

Hes roughly the same size as Luis Ortiz but fatter and slower and fatigues like a mf. He weighed in at one of his lightest i think it was 252 lbs but if he can go 15 pounds lighter we might see a different animal, especially with his style
Lets not forget:
-Whyte went life and death with Robert Helenius
-Whyte knocked down Parker via head butt and Parker was noticeably concussed and Whyte was out on his feet at the 12th round, even holding the ground/ropes to stay up with the ref saying nothing.
-Whyte vs Chisora was pretty much a stalemate with one guy ready to go down at any moment
-Whyte got knocked down by the 5 foot tall Oscar Rivas, struggled to make it the distance, then gets tested positive for steroids.
-Whyte gets KO’d cold by Povetkin
This is why I wanted Wilder to fight Whyte. He should've took the money.
It was a easy KO win for Wilder.

Would not have been easy, did you actually watch the povetkin fight ?

Helenius was on the defensive the entire fight and barely did anything. “life and death” is nonsense
the headbut was early on and he caught Parker clean later on in the fight and knocked him down
It’s okay to dislike Whyte and he lost yesterday fair and square but being undefeated in 5 years against top class heavyweight opponents is commendable. You guys are painting him out to be trash

Well you’re wrong about me “not liking” Whyte. I can like a fighter and still harshly criticize him. Also u didnt mention the roids. But i dont like how Hearn is using Whyte as a gatekeepeer for AJ towards every big HW that isnt in or closely tied to Matchroom; especially Fury and Wilder. For like the past 3 years its either fight Whyte (in the UK) and/or join DAZN.. just to fight AJ.

I didn't actually watch it
I only watch it

I didn’t mention anything except pull you up on the bulletpoints that were wrong
Sounds more like a matchroom issue than a Whyte issue my darg
whats up with boxing lately - havent heard any buzz on a big fight night for awhile
All the judges gave round 12 to Ramirez, a majority of boxing social media agrees it was a clear Postol round. He’s gonna have trouble vs Taylor

Covid and the natural business structure of the sport. Unlike UFC, theres no central governing body in the sport and the promoters are the stingiest of all so they wouldnt want to set up a big fight without making $20 mil+ in extra revenue from crowds. Also a lot of fighters are turning down big fights due to $, like Teofimo, Caleb plant, etc.
