Look how much attention this fight got by the media and on social media. Even had MMA fans in this thread lmao.
And they say boxing is dead lol.
Fights like this, Canelo vs GGG, Floyd vs Manny, etc,. will always get attention that MMa can't get.
Boxing isn't dead, they've been saying that s*** since the 1910s lmao.
Problem is those high profile fights don't happen when they should 9/10 times.

Even the two megafights you mentioned happened late lol
Yeah and this wasn't nearly as bad as the fashion that Lewis went down in. This heavyweight boxing, s*** happens. No ones coming back from a ruptured ear drum. I kinda think the dreams dead tbh, but I'm not going to count him out.
Bruh calm down a little wilder will be back he the devastating right hand in the sport maybe even ever heâs not going anywhere its only one loss his careers not dead
After Wilder's loss I'm the one dead inside
I understand lol
Ain't the first time one of my favorite loss bad. Wilder can bounce back.
AJ took that first step, fury prove himself again tonight. Now it's time for Wilder to prove it.
That what greats do.

Exactly.
It's kind of a double edged sword though.
It happening a little later builds more anticipation.
Wilder/Fury happened right on time though imo.

Boxing when itâs good got the most drama outta any sport and the drama is about to ramp up with Wilder having a month to exercise his right to a rematch. Only reason they did that is for the drama tbh.

Right he'll be back. The odds of him becoming undisputed heavyweight champ has gone down dramatically though. With his age and this loss, the windows closing.
Him weighting less would just make it worse imo he was getting mauled out there that 270 was just tiring him out after leaning onto him so much
It reminded me of Joshuaâs loss.
Both guys who shouldâve moved around more but couldnât because because they were too gassed from their bulky builds.
I also think that Wilderâs right didnât look as sharp. I wouldnât be surprised if he drops down for future fights. Same for Joshua.

Yep this is true.
Every era Boxing was supposed to die.

Heavyweight boxing between greats will always be prevalent in pop culture itâs just brings out a different feeling thatâs really unmatched in sports you can say boxing has declined a bit but great Heavyweights will always bring in the views
I understand lol

Nothing will ever hurt more than Pac/Marquez 4 and Pac/Bradley 1 for me. At least I'm a fan of Fury. Nothing against Tim but that was shameful for boxing as a whole.

Yeah but whoâs gonna take his spot in the top 3 in the weight class nobody heâll be fighting for a title again soon plus thereâs a rematch clause

Tito losing to Hopkins and cotto losing to margarito was the worst for me.
But at least Mosley, Manny and cotto all get to beat the cheating prick ass up lol.

I wouldnât say he was too bulky after that first knock down his eardrum looked ruptured so clearly youâre mobility plummets after something like that he looked like he was drunk the entire time after that moment Iâm surprised the fight wasnât stopped earlier

The ear drum definitely couldâve played a role. Iâd still say that he wonât come in as heavy in the future.

Once you rupture a eardrum you lose your sense of balance and thatâs a terrible thing to lose especially if youâre a fighter because itâs not like taking a breather is gonna help like after just talking a hard shot to the head you gotta get medical help after that

I'm interested to see what Usyk does in the heavyweights.
Problem Wilder has is, should he take the rematch so soon? He has a lot of work to do to beat Fury. And if he doesn't take it, they could always dodge him like Joshua has been now that he got embarrassed here.
But you're right I'm probably overreacting so soon after this loss.

Iâve never gotten the chance to see Usyk fight yet so Iâm looking forward to see how good he really is live. Wilder will prolly have a tune up fight following this but heâs not getting any younger so the rematch is gonna have to be soon. Also wilder getting whooped by fury is different from AJ looking to Ruiz that s*** should have never happened but aye itâs boxing s*** happens
FURY LETS GOOOOOO
Love seeing the underdog WINNN
