I agree that he's lacking in places. Ring IQ is off the charts(how else would he have made it to a decision ) but he's actually too fundamental for his own good. Everyone you mentioned has good/great boxing skills, but also that extra dog in them. Haney has 0 dog in him, he can't solve situations that he can't fight out of.

Haney honestly needs to move on from his father being his trainer. He's made him into a great defensive fighter, but other then that, Haney is pretty limited offensively and his chin will never be the same after this.

He needs someone that's not his Dad, in his corner.

I think he could've pointsed his way out, esp with the ref not counting two straight knockdowns as knockdowns, but once we got what I believe was the 9th and he got dominated to the point of needing to hold just to not fall over...you legit had to ask yourself if there was any hope for Haney other than just going balls to the wall and throwing hands
