this is the last leg of wilders career him vs ruiz might work
feel like wilder will rinse whatever saudi money he can get so hopefully that gets offered.
how we ranking the top 5 in the heavyweight division right now?
Ngannou is commercially in the top 5 so lol
1. Fury
2. Usyk
3. AJ
4. Parker
5. Zhang
dont really wanna put fury at number 1 since his last few fights have been complete jokes but lineal heavyweight blah blah he's the one to beat blah blah etc etc.
Think off that win parker deserves to sit at number 4. maybe I'll look back at that later and change my mind. wilder looked completely awful. Was parker THAT good or was wilder never that good who just cherry picked opponents his entire career. but knocking wilder out the top 5 is a crazy achievement either way.
could argue Hrgović should be 5th but his win against Zhang is questionable and none of his wins were as exciting as Zhang's back to back wins against Joyce.

I think Wilder clearly lost a step, but Parker also turned back the clock. Parker hasn't looked that lean and mean in years. Being able to overhand and duck into a clinch were always valid tools against that Wilder. Do I think Parker can do that against anyone else of note? I don't think so.
AJ can't do that stuff though. Wilder would've still beaten AJ a few years ago imo.

Yeah Parker looked really good in there. solid game plan but even by wilder standards he looked bad in there. at least to me.
Also agree on Parker probably not being able to take on anyone else of note, He's clearly the most motivated he's been in his career for years tho so i do think we will see the best version of himself he can possibly bring at this point. even if its not good enough to keep up with the rest of top 5.
This the end for wilder or a few more fights next? Would be a stinker of a fight (for his performance) to end a career on

Boxing is cooked lol
