Assuming there is no coach or management change, Smart has to leave. Between clutch shots that ALWAYS find their way to him somehow, boneheaded plays, crazy and streaky shooting... He is not as good of a defender. Not worth it anymore. Danny stroke out again by not trading him for Aaron Gordon.

The management and coaching have been awful the past couple of years. It started with the Kyrie saga... 2020 roster was also poorly constructed, if we had a little more depth we could've f***ed around and won the whole thing or at least challenge the Lakers. The team was just more committed and played defense

JB and JT should truly be the only untouchables if we’re trying to go after the chip right now. I’d hate to see Timelord go, but you have to make sacrifices to get superstar talent. I’d also hate to see Marcus go because he’s very obviously the real leader of this team, even with his decreased quality of play this year. He’s the only guy on the roster that has any sort of identity. I think I’d put him, Timelord, PP, and draft picks on the table for Beal though. Would still be concerned with the team having no true leader/identity though.

To add on to that, having Beal would be great, but I think KAT is a better fit if they can get him out of MN somehow. Wouldn’t give up JB for him though. Also not worried about him as a defensive liability. I wouldn’t give af about defense playing every night for MN either.

Idk much about how exactly to fix this team, but Kemba really gotta go. They need a pass first point guard who is also enough of a threat offensively that defenses won’t ignore him. Smart WILL NOT be that either in the case Kemba does go.

Kemba is washed, it sucks because I like the dude but he's a complete liability. He's incredibly inconsistent, is a horrible defender, and really isn't a great passer at all

we keep having to play iso ball and stagnant offense because we dont have any true playmakers. Smart is our only true playmaker but hes been horrible lately. I wanted Lonzo really bad at the deadline, I think he'd be a great fit on this team
