Aside from our s***ty ass roster I don’t think this team has the right mindset which makes us even worse. Even if you’re not talented you can at least play hard and pull some games out. There’s so many times Brad is just sitting on the sideline while we’re getting waxed and he doesn’t get onto our guys asses to step it up
At least we were contending until Kyrie decided to try and guard Giannis.
There were a lot of reasons that team failed, and the locker room drama was obviously at the top, but at least the team was great on paper and showed up to play most of the time and could go on spirited runs (thinking that 1st game against GS after Jaylen’s friend passed when they came back from like 20 down)
This on the other hand is just embarrassing. The team isn’t even good on paper, they just have 2 all stars. Bench is poop, soooooooooo bad. I would take Rozier and Mook over this bullshit any day, at least they could make shots BARE MINIMUM. These guys can’t even do that. Semi Ojyele is really the worst, which is why he barely got any PT when we had a decent bench. Teague also gotta go, along with Green, Edwards, and Grant eventually if he doesn’t take a step up. PP is already outperforming all of those guys. Need to see more Langford and also Neismith before knowing how I feel on those guys.
All in all, this year’s a f***ing wrap with the roster as currently constructed, and sadly I don’t think there are really any trades or usage of the TPE that will make that much of a difference.

This too, I have been thoroughly unimpressed with Brad, but I think he at least should be safe until Danny gets some f***ing talent in the lineup

I would rather have Rozier over Kemba 1000000%
Honestly if Kemba could even average an efficient 16 points rn I’d be happy
Tatum and Brown don't trust the other guys so that's why our entire offensive plan is ISO or high pnr.
Move the damn ball, cut to the basket, swing it side to side. Playing like Kobe is not sustainable for an entire game ffs.

Brad is too soft and we’ve all known this for years. He knows a s*** ton about basketball but he’s a scared beta

I still think a kemba trade and the TPE can put us where we need to be. That and smart getting healthy. But we need a new point guard that can actually hit shots and finish at the rim, and we need the TPE to get us a true 6th man

I don’t really blame them when they have Grant Williams, Jeff Teague, and Semi Ojeleye to kick the ball out to
Our bench is horrific and we have no true shooting on this team. Running iso is our best bet until danny fixes this s***
I just honestly don’t get how you’re an NBA all star and all of the sudden forget how to even make open jump shots?? Kembas legit fallen off a cliff

I feel like he still hasn’t figured out his role, coming from Charlotte where he was averaging Jaylen/Jayson numbers for years.
Tbh the last few years worth of players not understanding what they’re supposed to be doing on a night to night basis for this team leads back to the thought that Brad is a push over and can’t tell anyone what they’re really supposed to be doing.

I don’t really think we should fire Brad, but man I would love to see how we play with a different coach
Basketball doesn't work by pigeonholing guys into roles. It especially doesnt work when we dont have any role players lmao
Danny is the issue
the main issue has been bad luck
hayward injury allows tatum to blossom early. kyrie injury, rozier wants a bigger role after some success. jaylen marginalized as like, a 4th option.
then you have the issue of wasted late round picks, although id argue not all of the picks were bad.
rj hunter - should have gotten real playing time and never have been cut for james young
guerschon - terrible
zizic - he dominated a league that historically produced good centers and most drafts had him as a top 10 prospect.
^ issue in that draft is we could have had someone like brogdon in the second round
semi - was an elite pick and pop 3 pt shooter in college. i liked this pick at the time, he just sucks in the nba
jabari bird - swear he looked like a legit contributor but he turned out to be a f*** up
rob williams - i swear his defense just consists of trying to jump really high. no idea why some c's fans love him so much
romeo - he isn't going to be good. he can't shoot
we should have not traded matisse lmfao
grant - ass

It’s pretty clear Ainge sucks at drafting mid-late first round and beyond for the most part the last few years. We don’t even need to be drafting more rookies that don’t contribute to a team trying to compete. There’s no reason we shouldn’t have tried to package picks and other players to make beneficial moves, especially our last 2 drafts

There's a crazy story about the 18-19 season, that took place after a Kyrie feud in the locker room, which pretty much consists of Brad Stevens walking around making up small talk with random workers at the facility just so he wouldn't have to go inside the damn locker room. Media members started telling him he should get in there

not surprising at all
