As a very casual listener, I was only going to be interested in that movie with Sacha playing the role

One is doing work of social importance

& the other is pushing the limits of the human body whilst also being the greatest magician of his time, they’re both excellent in their respective crafts

I would hardly say pushing a political agenda is more exemplary of "social importance" than someone who literally pushes the human body past its perceived limitations for the whole world to witness in real time.

@Campari @Roundstone if Blaine wants to teach people how to push themselves physically, then that puts him above Cohen. Until then, Cohen antagonizing powerful people is more important.

most people will never in their lifetime have the balls to do anything that Cohen is doing either. What makes Cohen so different from Blaine? Both are people with near unattainable skillsets showing the world what they can do. Cohen isn't teaching anybody how to lawfully protect themselves from defaming others and filming it either.

And if you are a politically leaning conservative, you may find there is a big hypocrisy in Cohen only going after right wing people in power but stays mostly silent on the liberal elite. With Blaine, his messages are universal.

What’s there to go after liberals for? He interviewed Bernie and a few others throughout his career but they’ve never taken his bait

He stayed clear of widely known liberal elite scum like Harvey Weinstein or Jeffrey Epstein and going after Bernie but not the Clintons is the clearest example of "hey look guys! I go after the liberals but im gonna go after the most clean cut ones so I don't make them look bad!"

I mean if he can get republican senators/governors on his shows, he can definitely get awful people like this on his show en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Byrd

but he never will, because he has a clear political agenda
