one of my fav artists and might just be my fav DJ period.. legend of deconstructed club. this is a set of elysia-ish pop blends and lots of rap/trap/drill with some emo-ish indie rock in there too

don't think I know anyone who uses the CDJ as an instrument this fully tbh, it's a ton of f***ing around with loops, blends and effects and what's special is the boldness of with which those are utilized. bod sets always keep you on your toes, there's a certain anarchy and irreverent humor there but then also many big emotional or even lowkey spiritual moments. this one isn't even the most technical example but you get a taste I think.

also brilliant producer, mostly based in ambient but very collage-y with sudden excursions into club or even noise, the album Music for Self Esteem is probably my fav and a good entrypoint too

bod is technically merican and longtime Berlin resident but v close w bloodz also, they DJed for his live set on berghain main stage which was legendary, here's a bts pic by yours truly also 🙃

I met evanora:unlimited in the crowd there too ha, all of them old friends. bod, eva and dj paypal played a ton of shows together in berlin
