A lot of the cuts on that album did not age well at all,stuff like Haters,DOA and even songs like Off That just didn’t age well. But I will say that I’m probably jumping to conclusions cause all of the singles are classics(DOA at the time was a monster and I still love that beat) and deep cuts like Already Home and Star Is Born are good.

Yeah I agree most of the album is dated

But So Ambitious and Already Home are dead ass like classic cuts

And Hov was spitting on a lot of that album, he nearly flamed up every single beat I feel like Kingdom Come is a lot worse, and I even take it over BP2 and MCHG

Don’t remind me about Kingdom Come,that whole album is damn near pointless. He could’ve just released Show Me What You Got as promo for his comeback and came back with American Gamgster imo. But anyways,I’ll always have nostalgia for BP3 hype and it’s singles but it’s real easy to look back at that album and go “it wasn’t all that”until you really dive back into.

I'm a Wayne stan but Rebirth, and both IANAHB albums are worse.

Encore, Revival, and Recovery(which was influenced by B3) were worse.

And, in Hov's own discography, Magna Carta and the Dynasty album were worse.

And Nastadamous and Nasir were worse.

B3 wasn't even particularly unlistenable. It was just poorly mixed, generic, and had zero direction. Almost felt like a Jay-Z album tailor made to non-Jay-Z fans.

Yeah definitely wasn’t all that, especially following American Gangster which is damn near a classic, amazing album. But I just feel like the narrative that its trash, or even his worst album is crazy Kingdom Come is absolutely his worst album

I love Beach Chair though, Lost Ones is crazy and yeah Show Me What You Got but mainly so we can get the Wayne remix
