Listen to the vocal mix on ivy jc.. it’s goes back and forth from right inside your skull to a reverb like a small wooden room for most of the song, then on that last “it’s alriiight to hate meee now” it opens up like the whole room just became a canyon. I honestly don’t think it’s THE greatest album but it’s up there. I heard it the day it came out and loved it and fell out of love when all the basic urban outfitter bandwagoners hopped on. But this album is really up there
