I just want to browse aisles of dvds and video games as an adult. S*** pmo so bad that I have to go through an online shop filled with f***ing hentai slop games even on nintendo. Gamestops are f***ing tiny ass bogus stores by comparison, and you can’t rent games anymore. They even got rid of redbox. Im finding myself in used games and dvd stores more often now finding s*** i havent seen or wanted to see for YEARS because licensing issues have kept it impossible to find or bouncing around random ass streaming services nobody knows about. Streaming platforms and online stores have lead to a new kind of syndication of gaming and entertainment. Shows are now written in the most dumbed down format to keep people informed by repeating the plot repeatedly so they can keep up while we scroll on our phones. Every service is forcing in s*** tons of ads. Tiktok is unusable now its just shop and promote ads. I cant watch a youtube video without s*** tons of ads. Everything is so expensive and they have destroyed everything that made life enjoyable. Late stage capitalism is destroying everything. We must dismantle this system!
