On first listen Fight Club, Somedaze, Time Flies, and Jimmy Neutron are ny favorites. Piss Drunk Kids and Pals are incredible too.

yeah somedaze is a nice closer for sure

v nice album overall, really thought all the songs blended well together even though there was a lot of variety and changes from track to track. also feel like the denseness of the whole sound really fits the mood well. seems like a lot of details that it would notice on more listens

the dense bright sound along with the energy and lightheartedness kinda reminds me of Todd Rundgren's A Wizard A True Star album in a way. the way it feels loud exactly in the spots it needs to, packed with a bunch of sounds, and aggressively colorful. i guess i'm mainly talking about the production but also just the creative spirit of the albums in general

like if you just skip around to random points

which is probably a top 100 album oat for me with a sound/production that I rate really highly so definitely a good thing for me to be reminded of that

Finished!

Beautiful album. Had feelings of pure ecstasy from each track, all killer no filler, every choice feels deliberate but is never overindulgent making everything on the album feel super important and vital without anything extra and you all make it sound effortless. Very few groups out right now have this great of chemistry on each track and you all grow so much on each project becoming better and better at your parts. Feels honest and direct and simultaneously fun and contemplative in it's lyrical content.

Also, every track moves super, super slickly into one another; Jimmy Neutron to Fight Club is amazing. Even with all of the shifting in sound it all feels very natural.

Fav tracks: Time Flies (the apex of what u guys have done so far, very special song), Juno, Fight Club, Pals, Jimmy Neutron and Piss Drunk Kids but I can see the favs shifting around.

This is beautiful and it makes me happy to hear the final product come out so fantastically. Proud of u Mitch and the rest of BSK for continuing being exciting, fresh and honest. Keep on making awesome stuff and being awesome :-).

(sorry if some of this is incoherent I'm kinda sleepy lol)

basically im feeling this BSK album in a lineage of maximalist unapologetically creative "bedroom" pop (+beyond) starting with that album and flowing through artists like Tame Impala, Daft Punk even to Nine Inch Nails.

and this one is more of a stretch purely sound-wise but even Frank Ocean since he sampled that album on Blonde
