Did you do all this at a home studio or did you rent a professional studio and gear?

Nah ive never been to a real studio to record they make me uncomfortable, we did it in deiondre’s room.

As far as gear we had a guitar, bass, midi, and everything else was done within a daw. Logic

bro that s*** always happens. the songs that the artists themselves hate are usually the ones that most people like, and vice versa. its weird af and interesting. u never which song is gonna be the one. i have these 2 songs im sitting on rn that i dont really like, but everyone else loves em.

i think i like this even more than dropdeadxx. but this is more my type of music, this alt rock, melodic sound. you sound like blue whale frank man, its wild.

i wish the last song was more like the rock outro of it imo. felt weird going from all the rock and guitar driven sounds going into an alt rnb track. but it was still fire.

Instant Bummer is super inspired by Toro, i like albums being short and sweet less than 33 minutes, but it was hard to get like a proper build up to it so I feel you. Endless Summer was our homage to June 2009 w like a lofi short rock song.

Too Depressed 4 S***is our version of a Weezer song, that’s our next single the video for that is my favorite. Thank u im super happy u like that one

The girl is thebabegabe, she does not have any solo music but when she does it’ll be great. She was on the first DROP DEAD XX album on Bubblegum, Zolee, Teen Spirit and she’s the cover. She’s truly amazing imo, great writer and has tons of personality as a vocalist, like if Hayley Williams and Foxy Brown had a baby.

Wigs is Blood Orange homage, we actually made Wigs for a mixtape we were gonna do full of songs like that that we ended up scrapping, and we just kept bc we liked it a lot. Im surprised at how well it blended in.

The Pro Surfers Club outro I knew I wanted to do something like that, that’s the full song too. It feels purifying

hell yeah thats another thing thats impressive, i was looking at the runtime in astonishment lmfao. says 29 mins so i thought it was gonna just fly by, but the pacing was great. it didnt feel too long or too short.

Yeah run time is something I’m very cautious of. I wanted to originally make an album that was 22 minutes tops but felt full, that was definitely pushing it though im over that idea now.

The writing on Wigs even though it’s literally like the most simple and short is the most reflective I’ve ever gotten imo, like I really put a lot of my childhood feelings in words.

same man. pacing and s*** important for nerdy listeners like me who really enter into the project. i dont put an album in a playlist before a fully intense listen. so short projects are awesome especially when paced as well as this. keep us nerds in mind when u blow up dont make a 408 track "playlist" for the extra money, u greedy b****.
