The production could be a little better imo, it’s not bad but it’s not interesting at all. Talib and Black Thought definitely brought the most energy on this project.

finally listened to the album and i'd say on first listen blackstar did not disappoint lyrically they havent missed a step and madlib came thru with some fantastic production.

Yasiin is probably my only critique on it and of course the mixing on the vocals. He seemed like he didn’t wanna be there and we all know how he sounds when he’s extremely dialed in. I would have never thought Talib would shine harder on this
