You are paying for the equipment, locker rooms and the possibility of classes, hell my gym even had a movie theater treadmill room. That in itself for only 9.99 a month?!

I was trying to see this post from his perspective cause I used to work at a gym where everyone was very toxic towards newcomers and obese people trying to get better, but the only justification I could find is the food at the front of the gym. Even then Planet Fitness is a trash ass gym and everybody knows it.

I don't think so imo, it'd be by a community-by-community basis. if they're going through the entire effort to make a communal gym, they're gonna have some free weights.

plus, free weights and some racks and benches are much, much cheaper than a lot of lifting machines. and you and I know how much these folks love to cut costs. the most I could see are cardio machines.
