So what do oils do for our hair?

So washing my hair everyday and conditioning is bad? I have 4c type hair

Also, any suggestions for brushes, combs, hair picks, etc to get Lamelo/Bronny type hair?

coconut oil, rosehip oil. Tea tree oil is fire too but it has a smell to it and YES washing it everyday is horrible.

Maybe cut that back to once a week or maybe even once very two weeks

For Bronny type hair just get u a lil curl sponge off amazon or your local hair store

Don't use products with sulfates or parabens in them, those things dry out your hair and strip the oil.
You can also use conditioner as shampoo.
Type 4 hair can get very dry so pick up a leave in conditioner to apply daily.

I'm 3c with some 4a. I don't really have any go-to products because I have yet to find anything that works as well as I would like it to. Right now I'm using a mixture of Carol's Daughter, Cantu, and Shea Moisture products for my shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, and styling cream. The only products that I pretty much always have are EcoStyle olive oil gel (to slick back my ponytail when I have to work and to help with frizz when braiding my hair), Let's Jam maximum hold (same as EcoStyle), and Africa's Best Supergro (for my scalp).
