Hard games are the only things in life that trigger my anxiety these days
I'm generally an anxious person but Bloodborne been making my heart beat so fast that I need to stop and breathe for a while after dying to a boss I almost killed
Jail cell is the sewer level of this game
Somebody know how to open the cells?
damn each chapter is packed with secrets, they really reward exploration
just how I like it
Somehow it feels like they are just getting better and better at their level design as the game goes on
I'm still in chapter 2
At the main boss but I see I missed a few secret bosses so I gotta back track to get some s*** to beat him
Just beat Wandering Wight. Man that was so fun. Unfortunately I cannot pick up whatever purple spirit he dropped because I need "Guidance"?
I'll come across that soon I assume.

Yeah you will you will be able to reover from a shrine later
I didn’t think he was a very enjoyable boss but I beat him first try, seeing a lot of people complain about him though. Maybe I got lucky?
I beat him on attempt #2. He wasn’t crazy difficult, just tedious to fight

There are more secret bosses than main bosses in chapter 2, you probably dismiss a few

No lie this is why I don’t play most souls games. S*** be too stressful. Elden ring you can at least make yourself OP to steamroll bosses

Yea I feel that, I thought it was rather boring too
Me thinking I beat the Whiteclad Noble on my first try
Me when I find out he has a second phase and I'm all out of gourd

Whiteclad Nobles moveset remind me of Messmer in Elden Ring/Shadow of the Erdtree.
Hard games are the only things in life that trigger my anxiety these days
They actually help with my anxiety on some weird s***
It’s like it gives me something to channel my angst into
Im sooo tempted to buy this right now, but I lowkey hate playing games that feel frustratingly difficult
But I still wanna give this a chance because it seems like it’s genuinely a good game
the last or 2nd to last fight on this game is absolutely ridiculous…I’ve never seen a boss take the piss out of you like this before
was gonna wait for physical but idk if i can anymore man
i keep watching videos and they all make me want it

I’m in the same boat as you and I find this game to strike a perfect balance as far as difficulty goes. There are a FEW bosses and moments where difficulty spikes but I don’t find it harder than any of the souls games
That said I’m only on chapter 3, not sure how much harder it gets lol
Everyone is raving about this game. I only read the wikipedia of the novel that the game is based off of. Is it essential to read the novel before the game? I like a good story and I don't want to ruin the experience by not knowing anything
I don’t think it is. Reading beforehand may help you appreciate the story more though? Idk
